Sweet Sheet Trick

As I contemplate spring cleaning but not actually doing any of it I thought I would share the one organizing trick I have that I love. I call it my "sheet package", I read it in a magazine years ago.

First start with the fitted sheet. These can be difficult to fold but if you tuck one corner inside out of the other like this on both ends:
Then you will be able to make the odd shaped fitted sheet into a square and easier to fold.
Fold the fitted sheet, top sheet and one pillow case (if you have two for the set, if it is a twin leave the pillow case unfolded), then pile the sheets on top of each other.
This is where it gets cool...
(Don't make fun of my dorkiness)

Take your left out pillow case and turn it inside out, fold in half and place on top of the sheet stack.
Then you reach inside the pillowcase opening to the corner and grab a hold of the stack.
The you pull the pillow case right side out over the stack on the one side.
Still with me? Do the same thing to the other side of the pillow case.
And pull pillow case right side out over the other side of the stack.
(These pictures are really hard to take by yourself)

Creating a "sheet package".
See if we look inside we see all of the sheet set snug and nice together.
So now when you go to get new sheets for the bed they are all ready to go, just grab a "package".
Well, maybe you didn't grow up like my family and the sheet shelf was a jumble and you had to dig around trying to find matching sheets (if they existed).
And there you have my trick for a fantastic looking linen closet.
